In this 1880 record John and Lena have his mother Rebecca Mattox Jackson living with them. Next household is Rebecca's sister-in-law Harriet Nightser Jackson. Both Rebecca and Harriet's husband, Nathaniel Jackson are in the business of weaving carpet, apparently a family occupation. Note that in the 1850 census, John's father was a shoemaker and apparently his son had some connection with that occupation.
