    John Moulton born, probably in Ormesby, Norfolk, England, about 1599, died in Hampton, N.H., between 23 Jan. 1649 and 1 Oct 1650, aged fifty years. He married in St. Margaret's church, Ormesby, 24 Sept. 1623, Anne Greene, born 1600, died in Hampton, 12 Apr. 1668, aged sixty-eight years.

    The date of the will here is given as "23rd 1st mo. 1649." That would seem to be 23 March 1649, rather than January. The same source says the will was proved on "8th 1st mo. 1650" which would be 8 Mar 1650, nearly a year later. The probate transcript gives this same date as 1 Oct 1650, so it seems that one source or the other has the month and day reversed.

  6. ↑ The January 1649 date is likely the Old Style date (ie. Jan 1650 N.S.) as the will was proved later in 1650.
