    In the name  of god amen the tenth day of November in the six and twentieth yeare of the reigne of our Sovraigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of god of England Scottland France and Ireland Kinge defender of the faith and in the yeare of our Lord god one thousand sixe hundred seaventy and Fowre John Morgan Evan of the parish of Llangirrick in the county of Mountgomery beinge sicke in body but of sound and perfecte minde and memory praysed be god my Creator for the some, haveing desire to setle that estate in this world at present with which the Lord of his mercy hath lent and given me in this world I doe declare this to be my will and testament and I doe hereby revoke all other wills whatsoever by me in my time heretofore made and declared; first I comend my Soule into the hands of allmighty god and through the death of my Savior Jesus Christ I hope assuredly to have full pardon and remission for my sinnes and my body to the earth from whence it came in Christian [burial at the discretion?] of my Executrix first I give devise and bequeath unto Sarah Vaughan my Daughter in law and to my grandchildren fifteen pounds to be equally divided between them Itm I give Devise and bequeath unto Moris Morgan my son a parcell of wood ground conteyning aboute three acres called and knowen by the name of Parke Jenkin ap Evan Tew above the way that leads from Nant y hwasty Nant yr hebog situate lieing and beinge in the Townshippe of Glynbrochan in the parish of Llangirricke and [...] of Mountgomery to have and to hould for the tearme of his life and after his decease to Edward Morgan his son for the tearme of his life and after his decease to Edward Lloyd the sonne of John Lloyd to have and to hould for the tearme of his life and from and after his decease to Jenkin William of Trevegloes my grandchild for the tearme of his life and from and after his decease unto his brother Edward WIlliam for the tearme of his life and after his decease to John William and to his heires for ever

    Itm I give give devise and bequeath unto Moris Morgan my onely sonne one Burgage house newly builded sittuate lieinge and beinge in Feol y bont wer in the towne of Llanidloes and county of Mountgomery wherein one Humphrey Richards nowe dwelleth together with stable park sides gardens privileges purviladges comons comodities liberties […] and hereditaments withappurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Moris Morgan and his heires forever [...]the said Moris Morgan my sonne to pay the summe of Foureteen pounds six pounds to be paid to John Lloyd’s sixe children twenty shillings apeece, and sixe pounds unto Jenkin Williams sixe children twenty shillings apeece and two pounds to Moris Morgan children twenty shillings apeece the first sixe pounds to be paid unto Jenkin William to the use of his children upon the nine and twentieth Day of September next ensueinge the Date hereof and the next and residue of the said legacies to be payed upon the first […] May in the yeare of our lord one thousand six hundred seaventy and [....] and I doe nominate appoint my Deere and Loveing wife Jane Morgan and my Loveing son Moris Morgan to be my lafull executors of my last will and testament In witness whereof I put my hande and seale to this page or leafe of my said will the day and yeare first above written
