Jack May lived in China. He was a Customs Officer in Hong Kong. He married Ah Hoo, daughter of a Mandarin. there is a photo of Ah Hoo seated on the Emperor's Throne in the Imperial Palace in Peking (Beijing). She never came to England. Jack was honoured with the Order of the Double Dragons. They had three children.
