Nellie Branham's parents were John Branham, Sr. and Mary Marks, daughter of John Marks. Nellie Branham and LudLow were brother and sister. Culpeper County Virginia Wills and Administration, Will Book A, 1749-1770 shows: "Marks, John, 1759". His will names his daughters and proves their husbands as follows: "Item After my wifes thirds comes out of my Estate all the rest my desire is that it should be equally divided between my three Daughters(Viz) Anne Moore, Mary Bramham and Sarah George. "This will and associated doccument indicate his son- in-laws as "Harbin Moore, John Bramham, Jr. and Isaac George" In a deed on 2 May 1777, Caleb and his brothers, William and George sold 198 acres of land which their father Bryan had secured from Govanor Spotswood. The wives of William and George are named as parties of the first part, but Caleb is named alone, so by that time Caleb's first wife, Nellie Bramham, had died, and he had not remarried.
