In Washington Co., Va in 1830 there was a James Lowery whose age would have been 70/80 years but Dr. Bennett states, I haveno information t this time that he was the father of John. In the Green Spring Cemetery there is buried: David Lowry died 1828 at age 74 (b. 1749) Mry Lowry died 1825 age 80 (b. 1745) Dr. Bennett states I would take that these were the parents of Alexander Lowry.
