Jim, Thanks so much for your time. My ggggrandfather William Low was said to be born in 1764. He named his first son John b. 1789 and his second William b.1792. In 1791 he had 260 acres surveyed in what is now Barbour Co. WVa. Next to this place was a John Lowe from Baltimore that had 620 acres. In 1794 William sold the land and apparently left that area. I think John is probably his father or brother or maybe even an uncle. William was married to an Elizabeth Westfall and/or Elizabeth Haddox.

   I live on the border of Idaho and Oregon and it makes it hard to
