He may be the John Lonesome, son of William and Victoria Lonesome, who was born 9 June 1891, in Caroline Co., Va. He is probably related to the Percy Lonesome, b. Caroline Co., Va, 28 June 1886, son of Washington and Elizabeth Lonesome. A number of Lonesomes moved from Caroline County, Virginia to Baltimore, Maryland, beginning around 1898, when the Washington Lonesome family were living at 1711 Cairo. Casharme Ambrey Lonesome, daughter of Percy and Grace Lonesome, was baptized in 1922 at the Holy Evangelists Chapel in Baltimore, where John's daughter, Evelyn Lonesome Gordon (b. 1920) was baptized in 1951.

He died between 1930, when his wife's status is "married", and 1940, when she is a widow.
