Research notes

  • Daniel and Catherine moved to Armstrong County ‎(a part that is now Clarion County)‎ abt 1835. They lived just south and outside of Callensburg near where Prospect furnace. They were enumerated in the 1850 census there.
  • After Catherine died in 1854, John moved closer to Sligo.
  • According to the Commemorative Biographical Record of Central Pa, he worked at public works and at a furnace until his death. It was probably the Sligo Furnace.
  • Probably buried in the old Callensburg cemetery.
