                                          OBITUARY

John R. Kane Sr., 63 long time employee of Easy Washer Division, Murray Corp. of America died unexpectedly Friday night at his home, 616 Lodi St., Syracuse. Mr. Kane had been employed more than 30 years in the service department of Easy Washer. He was a member of Local 321, IEU. During World War I he served overseas in France. Born in Oswego, son of the late Michael and Rose Reynolds Kane, he had lived in Syracuse 35 years. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and a member of its Holy Name Society . Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Kane, three sons, John R. Kane Jr., Pfc. Foster M. Kane U.S. Marine Corps. at camp LeJeune, N.C. and Paul F. Kane and a sister Mrs. Harold McGrath of Oswego. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:15am, at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd. and at 8:45 in St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
