                           (Post Standard November 25, 1993)

Foster R."Mike"Kane, 52 of Winns Trailer Park, Bernhards Bay died Wednesday at St.Joseph's Hospital Health Center after a brief illness.

A native of Syracuse, he was a resident of Bernhards Bay since 1990. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of Salt City VFW Post. He recently retired from Crouse-Hinds as a warehouse employee.

Surviving are one brother, Paul F. of Grand Island; three nephews, Paul Kane, Jeffrey Kane and Shawn Kane all of Grand Island; one niece, Jennifer Kane of Grand Island, and several cousins.

Services will be 8:30am Monday at carter Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial will be in St.Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1604 Grant Blvd. Syracuse. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of Central New York, 2013 E. Genesee St.,Syracuse 13210
