John's middle name taken from the Texas birth record of his daughter, Myrtle Dee Jackson born in Bowie, Montague, TX.

On the 1910 census, James Jackson and his wife Ann are listed as his parents. James and Ann's ages and years they have been married agree with James Jackson and Ann Baker. I must assume the name James that I originally had was in error and this son was actually John W. The 1860 census was no help with this as it lists the child as J. W. and I have not yet found the 1870 census.
