"Age 82 of 57996 Crumstown Highway, died at 12:57 p.m. in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal after an illness. He was a self-employed carpenter employed by R-X Honing Co. as a supervisor with 10 yrs service. He was member of Mayflower Baptist Church; burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. On 15 May 1937 in Peoria, IL. he wed Florence Krelling who survives with 2 daughters: Mrs. Joan Strozewski & Mrs. Lois Strasser; a son James, 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clarence of Pekin, IL. and Floyd of El Reno, OK. A son, George preceded him in death."
