    Note that Mary Delphine Housel and her brother William Parley Housel are great grandchildren of John Housel through his youngest son William Charles Housel.
    Mrs. Elizabeth Lamb is a fourth great granddaughter of John Housel through his oldest son Isaac O. Housel. (Note that her mother's maiden name was HEFTY)
    L.W.H. is Lorenzo William Housel, the father of William Parley and M. Delphine Housel.
    NOTE 2: The information that John Housel drowned at age 90 is, we believe, erroneous.
