Original notes show her as the first child (birth on parents wedding day in 1816), but there is an alternate birth date which coincides with her mother's death. Speculation and lack of other supporting evidence makes me assume that Mary died with or soon after her mother in a difficult childbirth. Would love for someone to provide evidence supporting this or any theory.
