Disambiguation

NOT to be confused with John Hooe (b. 26 December 1737) in St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, VA, son of John and Anne Hooe. The two John Hoow's are first cousins. A marriage record in St. Paul's Parish, Stafford County, VA has "John Hooe, Jr." as the spouse of Anne Fowke, but the other John Hooe would have only been 17 years old at the marriage in 1755, so although unlikely, it does appear that the other John Hooe was the husband of Anne Fowke. Additional research may be needed.
