John Hickinbottom was baptised on 3rd January 1777 at Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, son of Ann Hickinbottom, formerly Sanders, and her husband John Hickinbottom, a gardener. Sadly, John died young, being buried less than two years after his baptism. His parents appear not to have had any other children.
