- nephew of Affra (Harleston) Coming who left all of her property in the Province of Carolina to be divided between her nephew John Harleston and her husband's nephew Elias Ball
- 1698 - comes to the Carolina Colony to claim his inheritance which includes half of Comingtee Plantation and slaves
- Abt 1700 - Elias Ball marries his sister Elizabeth
- 1708 - moved from Comingtee to Fish Pond
- 1721 - his sister Elizabeth dies and he and Elias Ball separate their holdings
- ??? - bought 2 lots of 500 acres each from Peter Manigault (per his son's will)
- acted as attorney to the Hon. John Colleton
