Facts and Events
John Olive Forsey was baptised on 2nd November 1834 at Winsham in Somerset, son of a laundress named Fanny Forsey, formerly North, and her husband Francis Forsey, a carpenter. The family lived at Bridge, a hamlet in the west of the parish of Winsham, almost on the county boundary with Dorset. John was the eldest of four children. In the 1841 census John was living at Bridge with his siblings and mother, whilst his father was away from home on census night. By 1851 the family had left Bridge and was living in the village of Winsham. By this time John was working as a carpenter. He has yet to be researched after 1851.
