Note: John apparently came to America in 1765 at a very young age to work off his sentence for stealing pigeons and mutton in England. A John Fluty and two other boys were indicted on two charges of theft on July 10, 1765. John was ordered to be deported from England. On Friday October 4, 1765, The "Justitia" with John aboard , sailed from Downs (which is near Deal, in Kent, Engalnd) to Virginia. By about 1775 he was with Daniel Boone at Fort Boonsboro, Kentucky. His name is inscribed on the Fort Boonesboro Monument. John is found on the 1800 and 1810 Clark Co., Ky census. He is also on the 1800 Clark Co. tax records
