FRANCIS FLUTY VS. ELIZABETH FLUTY, DIVORCE, Sept. 8, 1855, Francis Fluty says that some 35 or 40 years ago " he was married to Elizabeth Endicut but that about 5 yrs. ago "without any cause or provocation she left this deft, and refuses to return." He says he has resided in tha State of Ky. for more than 20 yrs, and requests a divorce, Three witnesses for Francis Fluty confirm his wife has not lived with him for 5 yrs. They are Ann Pack, Mary Fluty, Stanley Chaffins, all neighbors. Elizabeth Fluty in her statement, answers it is not true that she abandoned her husband but that for the past 5 yrs. she has resided on his farm in a small house, She was forced to do this because of his cruelty to her. DEPO. OF AARON FLUTY, Sept. 16, 1956: Aaron Fluty says he is a son of the parties involved and he feels Elizabeth Fluty left his father for "no good reason."
