John Wall Fatherree (my g-grandfather) and Obadiah Clinton Fatherree,his brother. I also have substantial information on Thomas Jefferson Fatherree, their cousin. John and Obadiah survived the war and have numerous descendents. Thomas Jefferson Fatherree was captured at Vicksburg, paroled, and later killed at Peachtree Creek, GA, in 1864.

John F.P."Frank" Fatherree joined the same company as John and Obadiah - Company F, Jasper Grays, 16 MS Infantry. I don't know the relationship. Frank was severely wounded at Antietam and again in the Wilderness. He married in the late 1860s and his widow applied for a pension later, but I do not have a copy at hand. I do remember that he had at least two children.
