    John was the oldest son of Elza E. and Marie H. DeBoy. He had one brother Harold DeBoy

    John graduated from Rossville High School and married Vivian Alice Shaffer on Sept. 4, 1932.They were members of Gettingsville Presbyterian Church.

    He was a Farmer. He spent his retirement winters (20yrs) on Marathon Key in Florida as a commerical fisherman.

    They had 4 children, Sharon Sue (h Richard Sparks), Judith Ann (h Gerald Bougher), Gary Hugh DeBoy (w Beth) and Gail Robert DeBoy (w Melinda)
