Cramer John Branton died Friday (d. 5-26-1924) at his home two and a half miles southwest of Garrett. He had been suffering from a complication of diseases for eight months and became bedfast May 9. Born at Swan September 11, 1868, he lived in Noble County until seventeen years ago when he moved to DeKalb County. He was married December 21, 1890 to Isabella Sarah Haag. She survives, with the following children, Mrs. Bessie Shellenberger of Fort Wayne, Paris Cramer of Flint, Ind., Mrs. Helen Foote of Richland Twp, and Franklin Cramer at home. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Lovina Cramer, who lives in Swan Twp; two brothers, L. O. of Redfield, S. D., and Joseph of Noble County; and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Gump and Addie Cramer of Noble County. He was a member of the Methodist Protestant Church of Altona. The funeral was Monday at the Methodist Protestant Church. Burial, Embry Cemetery. * 1924 |
