In Steuben county there is the family of John Klink, b. 1829, in SenecaCo., Ohio with wife, Elizabeth Meek. The had four children all whomedied by 1876, except for one daughter, who married a Killinger. JohnKlink died young in 1866, and his wife remarried and died as Mrs. Craig,thus eliminating the "Klink" name in Steuben County

- ↑ "John Clink was born in Sandusky County, Ohio, in April, 1836, a son ofGeorge Clink, a native of Germany, who came to the United States whentwelve years of age and settled in Pennsylvania, and subsequentlysettled in Sandusky County. He married Catherine Smith, also a nativeof Germany, remaining in Sandusky County till their death. In thespring of 1855 John Clink came to Steuben County, Indiana. In 1860 hebought 80 acres of land on section 36, Steuben Township, 40 acres ofwhich were improved, and which was a log cabin and a log farm. He nowhas 65 acres improved and in 1867 he built a large and commodious barn.In 1873 he built his residence, which is one of the best in theTownship. He had set out an Orchard and now has 50 bearing apple trees,and cherry and Peach tree, and small fruit of different varieties. Heis one of the most successful farmers of the Township, and aninfluential and public spirited citizen. He married Libby Ritter, adaughter of Henry Ritter, of this Township. They have seven children --George H., Ezra E., Charles K., Clara B., Cora E., David F., andFrederick J."
