 There is a marriage record for Curtis Beals and Mary Smith in 1849 in Randolph Co.
 In the 1850 census for Washington, Warren Co., Indiana, John 'Bowles' is a farmer, age 49 from Ohio; with Martha 44 Virginia; Phibe 18 (f) Indiana; Elsen 15 IN; and William 9 IN. Also listed are James Brandenburg 22 OH and Henry Hunt 20 MD, farmers.
