Johannes was my grandfather. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1909 to join his brother Cornelis in S. Dakota and was a farm laborer. He returned to Warns, Friesland in 1913. He returned to U.S.in March 1914 to Sparta, Wisconsin. He married and had 4 children.
