- John Miller, Sr., yeoman, of Cocalico tp., writ 2 Mar 1767, wp. 5 May 1776
- 1. Wife Sybilla to receive his personal estate and to have the privilege of residing in his dwelling house for the rest of her natural life.
- 2. Eldest son Abraham Miller is given a certain legacy to quit the perogative of his birthright.
- 3. Son John has given a bond of performance to his father. In an appendix to the will, the testator orders his executors to acknowledge satisfaction for a mortgage given unto him by his son John dated 24 Sep 1767.

- 5. Son David receives one shilling and is excluded from any further claim.
- 6. After his widow's death, his personal estate is to be equally distributed to all his children. (Note: There may be other children than those listed here.)

Patent AA-3-106: 152a Cocalico tp. pat. 9 Mar 1762 to the heirs of Rudolph Bear. In pursuance of a warrant dated 17 Nov 1736, Jacob Reim had surveyed 340a Cocalico tp. situate on a branch of the Muddy Creek. Said Jacob Reim sold the right to one Simon King of Cocalico tp. // (a.) Said Simon King sold one moiety to Peter Holler, who sold the same to John Reiffsnyder, who sold the same to John Miller. At Miller's request, said Jacob Reim released his right & title unto him by his dated indenture dated 13 Dec 1760 [no legal conveyance having been given before]. The tract then adjoined Valentine Westhever, John Woldsentle, and Jacob Wust. // (b.) Said Simon King sold the other moiety to Henry King, who sold the same to Daniel Zuber, who sold the same to Martin Frey, who sold the same to Rudolph Bear. Said Rudolph Bear had his moiety surveyed as 152a Cocalico tp. He later died intestate before obtaining a patent. He left a wife named Catharine (now wife of George Petre) and issue three children, to wit, Rudolph Bear, Magdalena Bear, and Catharine Bear. On 30 Dec 1760, the said Jacob Ream released his right & title to the 152-acre tract. Now, the heirs of Rudolph Bear request a patent for the moiety allotted to their late husband and father. Description: by land of Felty Westhover, land of the said John Miller, land of Henry Ensmiller, land of Martin Fry, land of Nicholas Lesher, land of Jacob Feezer, and land of Adam Grill
