No. 158 Henry Reuswig Catharine Reuswig Magdalena Reuswig The petition of Henry Reuswig Catharine Reuswig & Magdalena Reuswig by their next friend and mother Magdalena Reuswig respectfully represents That the said Henry & Catharine Reuswig are minor children over the age of 14 years and said Magdalena a minor child of Conrad Reuswig late of Allegheny City and is under the age of 14 years, and entitled to no real estate and personal estate amounting to about Eighty dollars as nearly as can be ascertained. That said minors have no Guardian for their estates, and praying a Guardian for that purpose, for the said Magdalena, and to allow said Henry & Catharine to make choice of a fit Guardian. Affidavit filed Magdalina Reuswig Bond of Conrad Reuswig with Geo K Reuswig and Martin Fromm as sureties in $200 filed and approved. By the Court March 4, ’71 Petition presented and Conrad Reuswig chosen and the Court appointed said Conrad Reuswig Guardian of said minors. by the Court

The parents of grandmother Mayer, our great grandparents, are buried in Voegtly Cemetery (German isn't it?) here in Pgh. One marker reads: J. Magdalena Reusswig Born Aug. 9, 1824 Died Dec. 18 1896 That would make her 72 when she died and means she knew my Mother, your Dad, Bertha, and Frieda.
