Came on the Ship Neptune. Qualified Sep 24, 1753, John Mason, Master Berks County History gives date of landing at Philadelphia as Sept 141753

German church records give date as 22 December. Also name is Nicolauswithout the Johan or Johannes

Age of 68 years 7 Months 28 days, either the birth date or the death dateis off by two days

History of the Saul Family gives the following, however I believe this tobe Johan Nicholas Saul as Nicholas would be too young to be taxed.

Nicholas Saul taxed in 1769 in Douglas Township, Philadelphia county,but no Property given

Nicholas Saul was again taxed in West District Township, Berks County in1779 as follows: 70 acres of land, 1 horse, 1 cow tax 2 lbs 35Shillings

In 1780 as Rakerman and 83 acres of land 2 horses 2 cows, tax 8 lbs 10shillings and also taxed again in 1781.
