The registration of inhabitants of Ladbergen-Hèolter (ab. 1840-1850) says: Lisette Bielefeld * 4 May 1796 + 20 Sep 1842 Ladbergen was owner of Ladbergen-Hèolter Nr. 52 Her son Johann Franz Bielefeld (also called Gustav), a dyer by profession, was born 16 July 1813 The IGI says that his father's name was Arnold Bielefeld. J. F. Bielefeld secretly emigrated 17 Apr 1847. Came to USA in 1847 Gemeinde Ladbergen, pg. 10: Bielefeld, Johann Franz gt. The history of the Methodist Church 1843-1943 states: Gustave Bielefeld, a member of the church in the early years, was father of our oldest present member, Mrs. Wilhelmina Rodeheffer, and grandfather of one family represented among us by Charles Bielefeld.
