Daily Times-News, The Tuesday, December 09, 1969 Joe Alton JOHNSON GRAHAM Joe Alton Johnson of Rt. died in a Burlington hospital this morning at o'clock following five days of critical illness. A native of Chatham Mr. JOHNSON was the son of the late William and INEZ ISLEY JOHNSON. He was the husband of Mrs.. Dixie Thomas JOHNSON of the home and was employed by Willard Industries of Graham. He was a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his wife include two (daughters?) Mrs.. Mary Jo Crenshaw and Mrs.. Peggy Ann  ? and (sister) Mrs.. Bessie J. Brewer . . . two (brothers) Paul JOHNSON of Wrightsville Beach and Obie JOHNSON of Gra- and seven grandchildren. The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home in Graham pending completion of funeral arrangements.
