    Father of Christopher Setser Davis b: 1830 NC and Delaware "Dilley" Davis Hinkle b: 1833 NC

by first wife; name unknown. 

    Family stories say she was a red haired Indian woman who died in AR on the trail of tears.  Job and the 2 children were in KY before 1840. The story goes Job and the children traveled at  night on foot to get to KY.
    Married last wife: Hulda Sumner June 17, 1861 in Whitley Co., KY. Father of Jane Davis Sumner by Huldah.  Some of his step-children took the last name of DAVIS.
