Joanna was born on 12 March 1755 in New Jersey and died on 15 June 1831 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joanna is recorded as a member of the First Church of Elizabeth (Presbyterian) from 2 February 1794 until 18 August 1828. Both Joanna and Isaac were buried in the First Presbyterian Church 12th Street Cemetery in Cincinnati, but in 1858 they and other family members were re-interred at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. Reinternment of the family was ordered by Charles Ross. Joanna's burial records at Spring Grove cemetery refer to her parents as Clark not Williams. This information was given by Joanna's grandson-in-law, Charles Ross 30 years after her death. The information is believed to be incorrect as most sources refer to her as Joanna Williams.
