    Jessie Atwalda Phillips, 82, of Somerset, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008 at Somerset Hospital, Somerset. She was born July 7, 1926, in Indiana, a daughter of Harry Loughner and Florence Landon. Jessie enjoyed flowers, doll collecting and shopping. She is survived by her children, Susan M. Hood and husband Ivan C., New Florence, Karen E. Hummel and husband John, Blairsville, Darlene K. Harvey and husband Dennis, Garrett, Craig and wife Sandra, Meyersdale, and Keith and wife Rhonda, Somerset; good friend Ray Coddington; brothers Carl, Melvin and Tony, and sister Joanne; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Melvin Phillips; daughter Janet E. Lively; brothers Harry and Robert, and sisters Sarah and Lorreta. Friends were received at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services were conducted Monday with Barry K. Ritennour officiating. Interment was in Edie Cemetery.
