Carl L. Loughner, 85, of North Huntingdon, celebrated his 85th birthday on Friday and passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at his home. He was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Irwin, a son of the late Harry Loughner and Florence Landon Evashasko. Prior to his retirement, Carl was a coal miner and a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Air Force. He enjoyed gardening and growing lilies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Lash Loughner. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bitkowski Fuller Loughner; sons, Douglas Loughner and Wayne Fuller, and his wife, Denise; daughters, Carla Severs, and her husband, Jamie, Bonny Holmes, and her husband, Wendell "Buck", Beth Sherry, Laura Whiting, and her husband, David, and Kristen Reitler, and her husband, Greg; grandchildren, Matthew, Kelly, Adam, Brandon, Lia, Sierra, Justin, Ashley, Jonathan, Ryan and Julia; great-granddaughter, Olive; and his beloved pup, O'Malley.
