- ↑ "Jesse G. Eccard, 48, 3417 24th Steet, Washington, died Wednesdayafternoon at George Washington University hospital. He was a son ofOrpha Stottlemyer Eccard of near Myersville, and the late Harry B.Eccard, and a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church atWolfsville. Besides his mother, Mr. Eccard is survived by his wife, Mrs.Evelyn Noel Eccard, one son, Airman 1st class Ronald Lee Eccard,Scotland, and two daughters, Susan Jessica Eccard and Sandra GailEccard, both at home. Also surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. CalvertStottlemyer, Hagerstown; Mrs. Richard Mertz, Mrs. Edwin Smith, Essex;Mrs. Grayson May, Middletown; Mrs. Dawson Horine, Myersville; Mrs. ClarkPalmer, Myersville; four brothers, Ernest R. Eccard, Myersville; RussellA Eccard, Uniontown, Pa.; Joseph S Eccard, Myersville and Howard C.Eccard, Amelia, O. The body is at the Gladhill funeral home, Middletown,where services will be held Friday at 2pm conducted by Rev. Roger Keech.Interment will be in the United Brethren cemetery at Myersville. Thefamily requests that flowers be omitted."
