Lizton; Farmer, Sec. 36; son of Isaac, born Nov. 24, 1786, died April 3, 1839, and Sarah Woodward Burgan, born July 4, 1796, died Jan. 20, 1875; was born in Lee Co., Va., Oct. 1, 1820, and settled in this county with his parents in 1834. Sept. 17, 1846, married Mildred Dall, born Feb. 1, 1825; children--Sarah A., born Sept. 13, 1847, died July 10, 1873; Mary F., born Sept. 10, 1849; Elizabeth, born Jan. 31, 1854; Amanda, born Nov. 11, 1856; Lydia J., born March 19, 1865.
