SS# 505-32-3603, Jess married Ethel, a school teacher, on May 1,1907. they lived in the western part of South Dakota on a claim in Lyman County. They reurned to the Platte area and eventually bought the Brill home place after his parent's death. Later they spent a few years in Nebraska and then moved to a farm near Emmett, Idaho,where they retired. They had no family, but provided a home for several youngsters when the lived in the Platte area. Jess died on Oct.28,1970 in Idaho. Special note: Jess is the uncle who gave my father, Arthur Brill, his toy steam engains. I now have two of them. Jess spoiled my father when he was a boy. My father adored him.
