Bryan married Ruby Burnham on January 13,1917. Bryan and Ruby farmed in the Platte, Academy and Harrison, South Dakota areas. They had seven children. Bryan retired in 1956 because of poor health. Bryan and Josie where raised as a seperate family due to the age differences. Bryan and Josie where very close they never went anywhere without each other. They where married in a double wedding on Jan. 13,1917. Bryan and Josie died within hours of each other on Dec. 6, 1977. Bryan was in Platte, S.D. and Josie was in Kenniwick, Washington.
