She left to her grandchildren Louisa WALKER, Chester WALKER, Mary WALKER, and Clarinda WALKER et al, children of Perez WALKER - Seth WALKER, (etc) the residue of her estate after settling just debts. The will stated they would be given and amount equally divided between them when they come of lawful age. Exectutors were her son Perez WALKER and son-in-law Hezekiah ALLEN. (Copy of will in files) From the probate documents and some calculations based on U.S method of compund interest Clarinda's share earned interest at 4.3% per year and Mary earned interest at 4.97% per year. No information is available as to the actual rate of interest or the method of compounding. One share was worth $38.00 which is what Chester and Louisa got since they were already over 21 at the time of Jerusha's death. The total value of the estate was $874. on 24 July 1813, she paid $2.00 tax on a two wheel chaise. (Copy of receipt in Files of David L.
