Oct 1845, Perez and his son Chester purchased land in Leominster from Oliver B. Wight, husband of Perez' dau Lousia. (Deed abstract dtd 24 Oct 1845 orig in collection of Francis B. Haynes.) Jan 1847, purchased a fire insurance policy covering his buildings and in Oct 1849 he covered his hay , grain, stock, and household goods. Both policies expired in 1854. Perez died in 1851 and his Son Chester renewed the policies when they expired. They ran to 1859 for hay, grain, stock, and household goods and until 1861 for buildings.
