Jerry Ickes

N BALTIMORE -- Jerry S Ickes, 56 of Bairdstown, died 2:50 p.m. Wednesda y, June 18, 2003 at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center.

He was born on August 26, 1946 in Findlay OH, to Oscar and Freda (Herr) I ckes, and they both preceded him in death. Jerry retired after over 20 yea rs from Cooper Tire Rubber CO in Bowling Green. He married Janice (Huethe r) on September 17, 1968 and they divorced, he then married Carolyn (Har t) in 1994 and they divorced.

He is survived by sons Larry of Fremont, Jerry Shanon (Denise) of Bairdsto wn, and Joe Ickes of Rudolph; daughters Mrs. James (Kandy Ickes) Pixl ey of Cygnet and Mrs. Tom (Sherry) Whitmore of Toledo; brothers James (Tam i) of Findlay and John (Jane) Ickes of Fostoria; sisters Judy Noel of Find lay and Jean Fraley of Weston; grandchildren Ashley and Austin.

Preceding him in death is a brother-in-law Bob Noel.

Visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2003 at SMITH-CRATES FUN ERAL HOME, N Baltimore, where the funeral service will be held 10:30 a. m. Monday, June 23, 2003. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bairdstown, t he Rev. Paul Eichar officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice, in his memory.
