" There is a will on file [for Jeremiah Whipple], Will Book B:321, will made 17 Sept. 1848, registered 5 Oct. 1848, so you know he died between those dates.
He was late of Hayfield Twp., "sick but of sound mind." Half of his property went to his wife Nancy and three sons - Albert, Andrew J. and Ambro, who also got 100 sheep. The other half of his property went to his six daughters: Susannah R., Ann E., Edna A., Jane, Lucy, and Elmyra, who was not yet eighteen.
He had purchased his property from Ebenezer Whipple, 28 Oct. 1844, in partnership with James Whipple.
His executors were Sylvester W. Mann and Albert Whipple, witnesses Eliab Skeel and John McMillien."
