Jemima lived in Warren County, Kentucky. She later moved to Barton County, Missouri. She later moved to Iowa. She later moved to Dade County, Missouri. She later moved to Polk County, Missouri.
Jemima was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Polk County, Missouri.
In 1850 Jemima was living with her parents in 2nd District, Warren County, Kentucky.
In 1870 Jemima and her children were living with her parents in Horsecreek Township, Dade County, Missouri.
In 1880 Jemima was living with her family in Bolivar, Marion Township, Polk County, Missouri.
In 1900 Jemima was living with her family in Bolivar, Marion Township, Polk County, Missouri.
Jemima is buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Polk County, Missouri.

- ↑ Mrs. Haines Dies, Past 90
Mrs. Jemima Haines died Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Jones of Cliquot. The funeral was held Monday. An obituary follows:
Jemima Duckett was born December 7, 1830, in Warren County, Kentucky. Died September 8, 1929, being 98 years, 9 months and 11 days of age.
She was married to Marion F. Dwyer who died in 1861. To this union were born 2 children, Emily and Wm. E. In September, 1876, she was married to Rev. J. W. Haines in Dade County, Missouri. One son, Israel, was born to this union. Rev. died March 5, 1913. Since the time of his death she has made her home with her two children, Emily Jones and Israel Haines.
She professed faith in Christ in early life and united with the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, that being her church home these many years.
Mrs. Haines was a good wife and loving mother, and a friend to all. To know her was to love and respect her. Her Christian life is an open book for the world to look upon.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. S. Pike and T. H. Phillips at Pleasant Ridge September 9, at 3 p.m., after which burial was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
