Kunz in June 1941; he died in 1948.She received a Baccalaureate of Science Degree from the University of Idaho at Moscow, Idaho; a Master's Degree from George Peabody College in Nashville, Tennessee; and a PhD Degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, Maryland.Dr. Kunz taught in the public schools of Shelly, Idaho and Ogden City as well as Weber State College in Ogden, Utah.She was a faculty member at Brigham Young University Provo, Utah; University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland; Scripps College in Claremont, California and Weber State College in Ogden, Utah. She held leadership positions at each of the institutions and was active in faculty associations. Teaching and the educational success of students were important to her. as was her family the .Jean was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she was very devoted to her family.At the time of her passing, she was survived by her daughter and son-in-law; son and daughter-in-law; eleven grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
