Jean Springer is one of three seniors that have spent their grade and high school years in the Galesburg schools. Jean has taken an active part in athletics, being on the softball teams of '39 and '40 and the basketball teams of '37, '38, '39, and '40. Teamwork, fair play an good sportsmanship characterize Jean's participation in these games. He sang in the boys glee club and mixed chorus throughout high school and took part in school plays.
