KISER Jeanne Christine Kiser, 88, died peacefully in her home Wednesday morning surrounded by her family. Born 12/23/1913 in Colorado Springs, CO. to Christina Elizabeth (Peter son) and Kelly Webb Mapes, she moved to Seattle with her family in 1920. On 10/10/1930, Jeanne married James P. Joseph. They had a son, Jimmy P. Joseph and a daughter, Betty Jean Joseph. During World War II, Jeanne was a supply sergeant in the WA. National Guard,a riveter at Boeing, delivered telegrams for Western Union, and drove a cab for Yellow Cab Co. On 3/10/1946, Jeanne married Eugene P. Kiser. They had one son, Donald E. Kiser. Mrs. Kiseris preceded in death by her mother, father, daughter, brother, Glenn R. Mapes, and sister, Bertha Pearl (Mapes) Corning. In addition to her loving husband and sons, she is survived by four grandchildren, Donald E. Joseph of Burien, Jimmie P. Joseph,Jr. of Auburn, Judy (Joseph) Slaney of Maple Valley, and Teresa Joseph of Shelton, 10 great grandchildren, seven great greatgrandchildren, two nieces, Donna Jean (Low ery) Putich of Seattle and Diane (Mapes) Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ., two nephews, Donald H. wood and Ed Pfeiffer of Shelton. Jeanne was very loving and devoted to her family and friends and will be missed by all who loved her. God bless you, Mom, Heaven is your home now. Services Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at Yarington's Funeral Home Chapel, White Center, with Burial immediately following at Acacia Memorial Park, Seattle, King Co., WA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Highline Hospice Care or your favorite charity.
