Jean Gertrude Minor, 98, of Ellensburg died May 10 at Kittitas Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.Jean was born June 25, 1906 to John and Gertrude (Adams) Hentz in Estevan,Saskatchewan, Canada. In 1915, the family moved to a homestead in northeastern Montana, in a town called Thoeny. Jean met Floyd Minor, who homesteaded near Thoeny. Jean and Floyd were married on Jan. 8, 1925 in Great Falls, Mont. Floyd and Jean were moved to the Kittitas Valley in 1932. Daily Record Ellensburg, WA
