WORCESTER; Janis E. (Goodrich) Mateiko, 74, of 240 Belmont St., died Monday, April 18 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester after a brief illness.
She leaves a daughter, Tracey L. Johnson and her husband Dennis of Cherry Valley, three sisters; Gail Dawn Haddad of N.C. Patricia Lebel and Nancy Goodrich, a brother, Bernard Goodrich and his wife Heather of Alabama, three grandsons; Nicholas, Zachary and Lucas Johnson all of Cherry Valley, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers; Frederick, Wayne and Donald Goodrich and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Frederick & Frances (Damon) Goodrich.
Janis was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester.
Private service and inurnment at Worcester County Memorial Park will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting the family with arrangements.
